The Citizens Foundation, USA (TCF - USA)

The Citizens Foundation, USA (TCF-USA) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID #41-2046295) committed to supporting the education of underprivileged children in Pakistan. With an active network of over 40 chapters across the United States, TCF-USA empowers its donors and supporters to help improve educational outcomes for children in some of the most impoverished communities in Pakistan. The Citizens Foundation (TCF), founded in 1995, is one of the leading organizations addressing educational inequity in Pakistan, operating 2,033 purpose-built schools that serve over 301,000 students. TCF's mission emphasizes quality education, gender equality, and holistic development, with a focus on creating sustainable change through education. In addition to education, TCF's community programs support women's literacy, vocational training, clean water access, and adult education. The organization’s Aagahi program has empowered over 221,000 women with functional literacy skills, helping them become more self-reliant. TCF schools are also equipped with water filtration plants, which benefit both the students and the surrounding communities by providing clean drinking water. Vocational training centers further support women’s economic independence, equipping them with skills in trades like cosmetology and sewing. By supporting TCF-USA, donors contribute to an organization that is creating lasting change by empowering communities, promoting gender equality, and equipping future generations with the skills and knowledge needed to build a brighter future. TCF-USA welcomes donations, volunteers, and support from individuals and organizations committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
