IUM was established as an academic institution for higher Islamic education in 2013. With Dr. Waleed Meneese as its President most of the programs offered in this institution are pertaining to Islamic Knowledge. This seminary style humble effort attracted immense interest from the youth hungry for authentic Islamic knowledge and training. The student roster is rising as hundreds of young men and women throng to register for undergraduate and graduate schooling. Most students are on scholarships.
