Iqra Fund has current enrollment of 4,098 first-generation students (over 50% girls) from kindergarten through high school throughout 20 village-based schools in the remote tribal north of Pakistan. In our 12th year of operations, we have our first cohort of 70 first-generation girls in college and university. 17 graduates are the first employed girls in their region, with 14 serving as teachers and 3 as community and maternal health providers. Iqra Fund's mission is to establish high quality self-sustaining school systems in the remote, mountains regions of northern Pakistan. We are dedicated to empowering all students, especially girls. We partner with local governments, community leaders, parents, and teachers to invest in long term student success, improving generational prosperity.
