"I am only blind from the eyes, not from the heart because I have noor of Qur'an in my heart." Founded by Zabeehullah Faiz, who himself is blind, Helping Blind People is the first and only Muslim nonprofit organization serving blind students in the United States. Located in Houston, Texas, HBP has been serving the blind community since 2011. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, HBP strives to make Islamic and general education available to the blind community at no cost. Our highly qualified blind teachers use their own experiences to nurture the spiritual, rational, and social growth of our students.
