A better tomorrow starts today. Crescent Appeals’ journey began by a group of highly motivated intellectuals, engineers and business professionals, who all have the passion for philanthropy. The main aim of Crescent Appeal is to provide Medical Care, Education, Food & community development in many rural and poverty-stricken areas of the world. Every day, people living in the world’s poorest places become needlessly blind because of conditions that could be easily treated, like cataracts. Many women, men and children in poverty have no access to the most basic of eye health services. You can help by enabling people in the world’s poorest places to see again through sight-restoring surgery, eye treatments and glasses, so they can go to school, get around safely and support themselves and their families. According to the World Food Programme (WFP), more children die each year as a result of under nutrition than malaria, AIDS and tuberculosis combined. A staggering 45% of all deaths among children under 5 are caused by malnutrition. We at Crescent Appeal aim to provide vital support to the affected regions via our established and reputable partners.
