Since its inception in 2009, JDC Welfare Foundation has dedicated itself to the service of Pakistan’s underprivileged, providing vital assistance without discrimination. This non-governmental organization works across many humanitarian fields, from disaster relief to healthcare, education, and food security. The nonprofit organization was founded by Syed Zafar Abbas Jafri with the support of various youth groups.

Additionally, JDC’s mobile medical clinics reach remote areas, delivering quality healthcare to underserved populations.

Currently JDC operates nine dialysis centers with more than 40 dialysis machines in Pakistan and has set an ambitious goal to offer 360,000 free dialysis per year.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, JDC quickly adapted to the rising health crisis by establishing free COVID-19 hospitals and diagnostic labs. These facilities were among the first of their kind in Pakistan, allowing patients to receive critical care at no cost. JDC’s diagnostic labs offer testing services that are crucial for early detection and treatment, alleviating the financial burden of healthcare for many families.
JDC also addresses the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities. Through old age homes, JDC provides shelter, care, and companionship to seniors who may otherwise be isolated or without support. Every day, JDC’s Dastarkhwan and mobile restaurants serve free meals to underprivileged individuals. JDC’s commitment to food security ensures that even the most vulnerable have access to regular, healthy meals. Currently JDC has free food points in more than 12 locations around the country.
