American Muslims for Palestine is dedicated to advancing the movement for justice in Palestine through education, advocacy, and grassroots organizing. AMP was founded as a community organization to fill a void in the work for Palestine among the Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim American communities. Over the years, AMP has transformed into a major national organization in the Palestine solidarity movement. Within the policy domain, AMP engaged in vigorous advocacy work for Palestinian rights for many years, effectively enhancing the Palestine voice in the U.S. With a national office in Washington DC, chapters from coast to coast, and with supporters around the country, AMP has built a large and solid grassroots community. AMP organizes events, actions, and festivals to educate about the history, culture, and struggle of the Palestinian people.
